Composer Angelo Badalamenti talks about how he and David Lynch came up with the music for Twin Peaks. The haunting mood envisioned and described by Lynch is transformed to beautiful music on the fly by Badalamenti. I love how lost in the moment Badalamenti gets when explaining the process. Almost as if he was doing it all over again.
A session that took only 20 minutes created a signature theme for a cult phenomenon. (And later inspired a popular dance song by Moby.) Feels like magic!
